“Green Siesta” was inspired by the years I spent in the Middle East, which always enchanted me with its mirage and mystery. In this painting, I tried to capture the mood of the Middle East the way I want to remember it, the tranquillity and slow pace of life with a celebration of bright magnetic colours and intricate patterns.
